In this module we will further our knowledge and skills in the application of the principles of yoga therapy with specific attention to:

  • Psychological and Emotional conditions,
  • Cancer,
  • Auto-immune conditions,
  • Addictions and Eating disorders,
  • Aged care and conditions associated therewith.

Once again we are most fortunate to have the benefit of  around 14 live case studies with the relevant conditions participating in the program.

Pre-requisites for participation are that you have attended the Foundations course, and Modules One and Two of the Post Graduate Diploma (PGDYT (YTA)).

Sydney Seminar and YTA Sangha Day

Please note that this module immediately follows our Sydney  Seminar on Yoga Yajnavalka 265 – 26 November 2017.  For Graduates and current YTA students we also have our PGDYTRefresher Day on 24 November 2017.  The YTA Sangha day will focuss on issues encountered in practice and we have a number of very intersting live case studies. For more information and to register for the Seminar and/or Sangha Day please go to the Seminar Registration.

The module will be taught by our course director Dr N Chandrasekaran (Dr NC) MBBS, Master Yoga Therapist and international teacher and author. We are very happly to announce that Ms Krystal Alves Yoga Therapist PGDYT (YTA), Naturopath, Nutritionist, and founder and principal of Yoga in motion is returning to join us for this graduation module.  She will take the morning asana sessions, offer tutorials as needed and, with Ms Madeleine Marty, assist Dr NC.

We are delighted to have YummyLara catering again for  us this module.  Lara specialises in organic, vegetarian, hand made food inspired by Ayurveda. She is an ayurvedic cooking teacher and professional caterer with her own commercial kitchen and centre set up in Byron Bay.  This is a fabulous opportunity for us to learn more about ahara (food) in ayurveda, to experience it in daily life (vihara) and to reap, enjoy and share the benefits.
